Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Banaras and it cannot be imitated on a powerloom. Single piece of a Kadhua dupatta takes 1-1.5 months (solely depending on the design and weaving) engaging at least three persons to complete. It is done on pure handloom fabrics only.

It is an handwoven art. A banarasi masterpiece which can be teamed up and styled with a saree (for wedding occasions), suits and gowns. Main focus lies on its antique zari kinari and palla highlight beautifying the overall look.

Care Instructions

1) Dry clean only.
2) Never store your silk dupattas with other dupattas. Wrap it up in a muslin or pure cotton cloth and store it separately to maintain their longevity.
3) Always fold your dupatta with the zari inward to protect the beautiful shine of the dupatta.
4) Store your dupatta in a dry dark place where there's no sunlight, air the textiles every few months.
