Katan Kadhua dupatta having a combination of silver and golden floral meenakari zari jaal throughout accentuated with broad Meenakari highlighted handweave double tone zari palla and meena zari kinari. A full size dupatta coming with golden and green blue signature banarasi tassels.
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Banaras and it cannot be imitated on a powerloom. Single piece of a Kadhua dupatta takes 1-1.5 months (solely depending on the design and weaving) engaging at least three persons to complete. It is done on pure handloom fabrics only.
‘Meena’ is the feminine form of “Minoo” in Persian, meaning heaven.
