Handloom Katan Kadhua Multicolored Saree
Beauty crosses all bound with this Handloom blend of weaving and colors. Varieties of weaving, dual color resham and zari floral weaving in the palla. Main highlight of the saree is the patterned thread weaving throughout the multi color base comes with a plain red broad lower border and black upper border. Zari patterned booti segregated in the red running blouse.
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Banaras and it cannot be imitated on a powerloom. Single piece of a Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months (solely depending on the design and weaving) engaging at least three persons to complete. It is done on pure handloom fabrics only.
Focusing on a single highlight is difficult. The body of the saree depicting thread patterned weaving all over. A saree which can be teamed up with contrasting dupatta for multiple styling options thereby making it heavier in look.
