Paithani Silk Saree


Inspired by the famous traditional Paithani handweave sarees from state of Maharashtra. A beautiful story narrated with intricate floral jaal weaving.

Handloom banarasi dhoop chaav Katan silk saree with zari boota dots throughout. Upper border zari has been woven keeping in mind the modern design format while the attention grabber is the Paithani zari border and palla giving a shaded phulkari feel with its stunning resham and zari combination. Comes with a running blouse piece (same color as of saree).

A Pattan (Paithani) is characterised by oblique, plain and spotted designs. Paithani is a saree made of silk and zari. It is a plain weave with weft figuring designs. Charkha, Ciddle-Gatta and China Silk are the three types of silk threads used. Zari is a metallic yarn, made of pure silver.

It's speciality lies on its Paithani climax giving a sense of 'wow' feel to the entire saree. A saree which can be suited best for both indian ceremonies as well as for party nights giving a contemporary feel

Care Instruction

1) Dry clean only.
2) Never store your silk sarees with other sarees. Wrap your precious saree in a muslin or pure cotton cloth and store it separately to maintain their longevity.
3) Always fold your saree with the zari inward to protect the beautiful shine of the saree.
4) Store your saree in a dry dark place where there's no sunlight, air the textiles every few months.


1) This particular saree comes with a different blouse piece. The model above is wearing a separate blouse only for styling purpose.
2) Fall and piko has not been done in the above saree.
3) There might be some irregularities in the saree due to it being a handwoven one, which indirectly adds to its uniqueness.
